Biomechanical Modelling: Custom-Built Wear Testing Equipment

Our Products

Simulation Solutions’ range of Prosim bioengineering simulators addresses the following key areas in the study of the biomechanics and biotribology of orthopaedic implants and cadaveric samples.

Developed over the last 20 years.

The Prosim bioengineering simulators have been developed over the last twenty years working closely with some of the leading research institutes and orthopaedic implant manufacturers in the market. The custom-built wear testing equipment delivers cost-effective and practical biomechanical joint test systems, capable of producing timely, consistent and reliable data.

All simulators in the range are electromechanical and run in both force and displacement control, with the ability to track even the most demanding waveforms.
